Wonderful

The room and the facilities in the room were perfect for what we needed. The use of the main hotel for Breakfast and the pool was great and convenient and having a little bit to start off was excellent EG: Bread, Butter, Milk etc

The location was the biggest downfall. To get to an MRT is a walk which isn't pleasant when raining or hot. The hotel does run a shuttle but that doesn't start until 11am which I think is too late. To get most places we ended up doing Grab's (Ubers)

Comfortable apt in attractive quiet neighborhood close to Orchard Rd

Quiet, clean & well appointed 1BR apt adjacent to the shanti-La Hotel with its many dining options

The walk to public transport (buses & MRT) maybe a challenge for the elderly or those with disabilities. Taxis or the Shuttle service are available as alternatives. The Shanghai-La is located in a quieter neighborhood which also means it is some distance from many of the attractions.

This was a very comfortable and relaxing apartment.

It was the perfect home away from home. Large with kitchen facilities to be able to cook when we had a long day out exploring Singapore.

The location was very ideal for us to get around by walking. Very central.for.us.

Housekeeping was very bad. Very disappointing for Shangri-la standard. Floor was sticky, and I feel that the room was not cleaned as it should with regards to putting things in order. For instance, I still found dirty mugs when I came back in the late afternoon. Also, when I requested a technician to check on the AC because the room was super hot and humid no.one came for 2 days. It seems the reception conveniently forgot the request. I didn't appreciate it of Shangri-la

Singaporean home away from home

Great location and a great place to come back to at the end of the day. We were able to cook, do washing and relax.

No issues. We were informed before we arrived that there was construction next door. It did not bother us as you could not hear the works

Large serviced apartments for a short stay in the city

The location is very convenient and on a very quiet street so there’s no traffic noise at night. The apartments are more spacious than the average serviced apartment and living room and kitchen are separated from the bedroom, which is perfect when cooking so that smells don’t invade the entire unit or for working and relaxing somewhere other than the bedroom. There is a laundry room with detergent already provided and the pool area is quiet compared to the main hotel facilities.

The housekeeping is only 3 times a week. The overall decor and taste are a bit dated. Kitchen appliances and the unit AC controls are in need of some upgrading. It is obvious it’s an old property even if it’s all well maintained and in working order.

Overpriced and much less than expected quality

Quite neighborhood Comfy bed

It's dirty, many spots on the tables. No toiletries provided. No other amenities provided. It's under staffed, have to wait very long time to get my delivery order to my apartment because only 1 person running around doing stuff. In addition, when checked in no bellhop to help with luggage he was on a break and no one to replace him. Front desk take long time to answer the phone.

Excellent family vacations spot to park and enjoy

Location was central and great. Cinemas, dining and shopping close by. Excellent quiet walking path from botanical gardens back along Nassim road. Very child friendly with good activities. Of course the Shangrila hotel breakfast

Pricing ? To make the stays longer !! Otherwise great in all ways . Keep it going. Really can’t add anything to it.

It was the best for our grandchildren and for us a lot more frustrating than needed to be, also extremely expensive.

I loved the pool, the rooms were lovely but getting old and looking it, the staff were exceptional with everything, we had a light breakfast left in the kitchen as we flew in at 11pm and were very grateful for that as my granddaughter needed food at 6am for medicine, the Koi fish were adorable. A lot of feedback I had was I was in an excellent position but we spent most of our time on Sentosa Island with Universal Studios, Aquarium, waterpark even shopping at VivoCity was better than Orchard road. We did do China town, the Bay of Gardens, the Botanical Gardens and overall Singapore is without a doubt the best place for children.

I know the amount we paid was astronomical and definitely NOT worth it, I don’t know how old the place is, but looks old. It was comfortable but the beds were like sleeping on a block of concrete, my back was so painful, no matter what bed I was in (there were three beds) I had to swim lots of laps each day so that I could to ease my back pain. There was a building going up that they didn’t inform us until the day we flew out and that was pretty noisy because we were overlooking the work site. We had to get a taxi to the resort from the airport because they don’t do pick ups unless you want to pay 10 times what the taxi was worth, so it is worthwhile looking yourself as to what the best way to get around is. We also got a 3 day tourist card which enabled us to use the buses and train services unlimited to anywhere in Singapore, which again was way cheaper than taxis.

Pleasent with no hassle

The staff was very professional and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and fresh. The apartments (at least the one I had) had a bidet which is a great thing for me and the Muslim and Asian people. Both of the swimming pools in the apartments and the main hotel were clean and well maintained.

My wife was repeatedly complaining that there are Ants in the apartments, I never saw them though. It will be convenient to highlight the Halal and none Halal food on breakfast dishes name cards.

Happy stay but rooms do need a refresh.

Location and was comfortable room despite in need of a refurbish

Apartment across from us appeared to have many people staying that spilt into hallway with luggage, food wrappers and shoes with one guest basically living in the hallway for 3 days. Some pool maintenance was unexpected but main hotel pool was great. Some issues with credit cards on arrival. Noted during my visit this happened quite a few times to other guests too. Suggest to look into it (appeared more with Australian cards) or more training as on departure staff processed our bill in a manual manner and there were no dramas.

Great apartment size at Shangri-la apartments

Loved the apartment size and pool. The hotel was very nice. Added bonus to use the facilities of the Shangri-la hotel, note weekdays only. Washing machine and dryer on each floor. Fruit, cereal, and milk supplied on arrival.

The distance from buses and MRT. If you're doing it a few times a day, it's very tiring. The distance means you can't just pop back to the hotel for a rest and go back out again.

facilities, big apartment and kitchen was stocked with eggs/bread etc to make day 1 that much easier. You also get access to the main hotel which is great.

Getting charged for when one of my kids' friends came to play at the hotel in place of my other kids. In addition, constant lightning warnings (despite clear weather & sunshine) mean that they close the pool quite frequently at the hotel (not at the apartment).
